Hi there β my name is Lutsen and I'm the best thing to happen in MN this fall! I'm the cutest, sweetest, piebald (black and white coloring) pup you've ever met. My pink nostrils help with my cuteness too. I ended up in foster care (along with my sister) after we were picked up while wandering around the Blue Earth area. We went to a shelter there but due to capacity and our breed (part bully) we were put on the chopping block after our fifth day there. So, Save-A-Bull stepped in and saved me just in the nick of time! Don't worry β my sister was saved as well but went with another rescue team and is living her best life with them.
I'm super smart and have already figured out kennel training and am pretty far along with potty training. I've only had a couple of accidents but it was when my foster mom wasn't paying attention and I really had to go! She has these jingly things hanging on the backdoor but I haven't quite figured out that I should ring them to let her know I need to potty. I'll get there, don't worry. I already know βsitβ and have learned to wait for my food dish to go down and look at mom for the okay to start eating. I was a wild man with food when I first came to her so this is a big improvement. I love food and treats so much so I would do just about anything for them. π
The foster home I'm in is pretty cool. I live with two other dogs β one is another foster with Save-A-Bull, Aaron, and we have quickly become the best of friends. Aaron is so cool! We love to play with one another so much and Aaron has been a great big brother and even lets me be a little spoon with him. In a perfect world, we would get adopted together because we just love each other so much. My foster sister, Honey, is super fun too. She likes to wrestle with me and we have a blast but sometimes I take it too far and grab her from behind and she really doesn't like that. I always back away when she tells me to stop. I'm pretty good with boundaries. We don't have any cats here; I'm sure I would be curious about them but also be respectful of them. I don't live with any kids but I love everyone so much that I can't imagine meeting a kid I wouldn't like. But disclaimer β I'm teething so I love to nibble on hands and toes. I also get really excited to see my people and love to grab a hand and lead them around. My foster mom is trying to make me stop but I just get so excited to see her. My little butt wiggles out of pure joy β she said it's so cute but I should stop because kids might not like it. I'm working on controlling my excitement and love for everyone.
My perfect home would be with someone(s) who is ready for puppy energy and knows how to keep me satisfied physically and mentally. I will need training because I'm just a pup and don't know all the things yet, though I'm a quick study. I'm a pretty confident puppy so there isn't much that scares me, I'm more curious than scared. I would do well with another dog who can handle puppy energy but I would be okay as the only dog in the home. Just means more love and treats for me. I'm pretty active right now because I'm a puppy but once Iβm physically and mentally drained I'm also a lovebug and like to snuggle up for a good nap. Maybe I can be a little spoon with you?
