Hi my name is Alex Morgan, after the US soccer player! I am white with patches of leopard-like spots – I have one spotted ear and one white ear, and spots all over my back end – they’re adorable. Although the most gorgeous part of me is my stunning blue eyes! I made the long trip to Minnesota from New Mexico with my five siblings. I am very happy to be in Minnesota and find my forever home.

I am doing very well at potty training! My foster mom has me on a schedule and I have only had a couple of accidents in the house. Even for being a little gal, I seem to know that going potty outside is the thing to do. I cry for a few minutes when I first go into my kennel at night, but my foster parents let me know that it’s alright and I settle down quickly. I have only been in my foster home for a short time, so life is a learning experience for me.

In my foster home I live with two Pitbulls (both Save-A-Bull alumni). My foster sister is five years old and my foster brother is three years old. My foster sister is a little selective about who she hangs out with and mostly avoids me, but my foster brother gets down on my level and plays with me. We have a lot of fun together! I also live with two cats. The older cat doesn’t have much time for me and lets me know how he feels, and the younger cat interacts with me, until I get a little rowdy. 🙂 I’m discovering all of my foster siblings' toys which they let me play with – unless it’s one of their favorites!

I do have a very unique quality, I am deaf. You would never know it by seeing me – as I like to bark, run around and play like any other puppy. My learning style is just a little different. My foster parents are teaching me by using hand signals and I am catching on so quickly! I already know my name,  “come”, “potty”, and am working on “sit”, “bedtime”, “down”, and will keep adding to my vocabulary. Since I can't hear, I am very observant. I like to closely watch the people and animals around me. One really cool feature about being deaf is that I can sleep through anything, and I don’t get riled up by the doorbell like my foster siblings do. 🙂 My foster parents have found that there are so many resources available to help special dogs such as myself, it’s awesome! I will need a family who can continue to work with me, so I can be the best puppy around.

I have so much love to give – could this be you?
