Hello, I’m Saola! I hear my fans love my face wrinkles and my chunky puppy belly. I feel like I'm a movie star – I'm from the pretty well known litter named the endangered species. My mom is from New Mexico, her name is Peregrine. When my mom was found, she was going to be fixed and my siblings and I were going to be aborted. Luckily, Save-A-Bull heard about my mom and they brought her all the way to Minnesota. And boy do I love the snow! Here we were given the chance to live our lives to the fullest.

I'm working on potty training, but I'm still so young, only about eight weeks. I have picked up the idea to ring the bells at the back door when I want to go outside. Just not too sure if it's to go out to the bathroom or to go eat that yummy snow. Sometimes when I'm being held and carried to go outside I grunt and snort, and sound like I'm grumpy. I'm not, I'd just rather walk on my own. I sleep in my own kennel at night (with just a little crying to start) or when my humans have to leave the house. At first I was not a fan, but soon I realized it's not that bad. I have a comfy blanket, a favorite stuffed animal or bone, and my humans play classical piano music to soothe me to sleep. I even get a treat for going in my kennel! At night I sleep on the lower level in my kennel covered with a blanket. At the moment I'm focusing all my energy on potty training and being in my kennel, soon I think I'll try "sit". I've mastered the trick of looking adorable at all times. 🙂 I have not taken any training classes yet, but I know I would love to – I love people and puppies. I love to make my humans happy, so I will do anything for treats, love, and a good belly rub!

I have two human siblings who love on me more than I could ever have hoped for. The girl is 12 and the boy is 14. We get along great! I have not had the privilege to meet any cats yet. I live with two Save-A-Bull alumni dogs. Blanche is a wise 6-year-old southern lady, and Stanley is a handsome 2-year-old gent. Blanche enjoys her alone time and pretty much leaves me alone. Stanley is a lot of fun and loves to play with me and my sister. We love to wrestle around and chase after the same toy. Stanley is too fast and always wins, someday I'll catch up. I love playing with my dog siblings at my foster house and tend to be more submissive with the other dogs.

Some fun facts about me:
Why are you the very best dog in the whole world?
I have so much puppy chunk to cuddle!  I really do love to play, but I have just as many lazy cuddles in me too.

Give me a description of your dream forever family.
I love having another dog to play with, but that isn't the most important thing. All I really want is someone who wants to share their time and love with me. You won't regret it!

What are some of your favorite toys?
I love rope toys the most, but there are so many good toys out there. Bones, tennis balls, stuffed animals, etc. They are all good! I even play with a cat toy that my human whips around for me to chase.

Play all day or cuddles and snoozes?
I am a mix of play all day or cuddles and snoozes, just depends on my mood.

What makes your body wiggle and your tail wag harder than anything?
I get the whole body wiggles when I see my humans come in to give me a good belly rub or ear scratch!

What would your dream day consist of?
My dream day would be to wake up and spend all day with my forever family. Playing, watching movies, napping, massages, and getting treats! Could this be you?
