Hello my name is Dopey, but my foster parents like to call me Teddy because I remind them so much of a teddy bear. They say I'm soft, snuggly, and fluffy and I also look just like a teddy bear. I think they're right because one of my favorite things is snuggling up on the couch with my foster parents!
I am a very happy and curious girl! I love to go outside and explore all the smells. I love finding sticks to chew on and carrying them around until I find the perfect spot to lay down with them. Sometimes I get carried away and try to eat some of the things I find outside. My foster parents have to remind me that those things are not toys or food and to leave them alone. I am starting to learn but my forever family will need to keep working with me and keep an eye on me when we are outside exploring.
I also love chasing my brother around and wrestling with him. I'm learning to play gently, I just get so excited sometimes I don't realize how rough I am playing. We have lots of toys we play with also. I love all toys, especially stuffies with squeakers and chew toys. Playing is one of my favorites! I would love to find a forever family who will love to play with me.
My foster parents have shown and taught me a lot so far and they say I'm doing a great job learning. I do really well in my kennel, especially with one of my favorite toys to keep me company. I sleep through the night and don't wake up until the morning. My foster parents have to leave the house sometimes and I will wait patiently in my kennel for them to get home. I've also been starting potty training and doing well. However, I'm still young with a small bladder and sometimes I just can't wait and don't make it outside. My new family will have to be patient with me and continue to potty train with me.
I am so very excited to meet my new family. I cannot wait to play and cuddle with you and give you lots of kisses and love. My foster parents say my new family will be so lucky to have me and I am a very special girl. I would love to meet you!
