Hi, my name is Pickle. I was found on a South Dakota reservation with my mom and three other siblings. We all had really bad mange (I had the worst of it) so we were all super itchy, uncomfortable, and hungry when we got to my foster home. My foster people took such good care of us – giving us medication, rubbing coconut oil on our bodies several times a day, and giving us all the love and patience we needed! It felt so good to know we were getting better. Now that we are all clear of the mange (and all my hair has grown back) I am ready to find my forever home!
I am still at the same foster home with one of my sisters. Here, I have a big dog foster sibling, and there are some cats running around too. I want to play with the cats so badly, but I am good with redirecting. I play with my sister and foster sister all day long. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to snuggle! I always try to curl up on top of my foster sibling’s body to cuddle, or you can find me cuddling with my foster people – they are my best friends!
My foster people say I’m the cutest, silliest, and softest puppy and that I would make a family so, so, so happy! They are always laughing at me being goofy and taking cute pictures of me! I’m doing really great with potty training and crate training (even though all I want to do is sleep in a bed curled up on someone’s pillow).
I’m looking for a family who will be patient with me as I learn the ropes. I hope I get to go to fun training classes so I can learn the basics or even some cool tricks. Really all I want is a family to love me and help me be the best dog I can be! And having a human to cuddle with is also a must. Another dog would be a bonus because I have had so much fun learning and playing from my big foster sibling. Do you think you could be my new family? I can’t wait to meet you!
