Hi, I'm Opal and I am very special! I’ll tell you why...I have two different colored eyes! One is blue and one is green. I also have little polka dot ears, all on a beautiful white fur coat. My ears do not work at all, I can’t hear anything. But that doesn’t slow me down! My foster mom says I am smarter than the average pup because I know sign language. It is easy to learn, I could teach you!
I live with four dogs and a kitty. I’m about the same size as the kitty and we are best friends. We love to roll around on the ground together. My housemates are an 80 lb. female Pitbull, a 6 lb. Chihuahua, a 70 lb. Lab/Pitbull mix and a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. They are all much older than me except for Norma Jean, the Lab/Pitbull mix – she loves me. I have lived with children and love them!
House training is going really well. I am crate trained, I sleep in my crate all night and it's very comfortable. Treats make my little tail wiggle so fast. I know “sit”, “stay”, “no”, “look at me” and “GOOD JOB”! I have a favorite blanket I like to snuggle in. I love to roll on my back and throw my toy in the air and catch it, but tug-of-war is my favorite game. I love being outside, laying in the sun soaking up rays.
I am looking for my forever home where I can grow up and be your best friend and life long companion! If you are a loving, patient human, and if you would like a puppy who will love you unconditionally, then I am your gal. Not being able to hear things around me means you will need to help me a little more than a dog who can hear. You will need to keep me safe from certain things that might be dangerous to me. Ohh, I forgot to tell you: I LOVE TREATS AND WILL DO ANYTHING FOR A COOKIE!!
