Hi, my name is Monica but my foster family calls me Mo. I came to Minnesota with my siblings all the way from Texas, the lone star state. I am still not quite sure why anyone would want to live in a state this snowy and cold but I think it will grow on me eventually, at least that’s what my foster mom tells me.
My human foster brothers are my favorite thing in the whole wide world! They snuggle and play with me and I wish I could be with them 24/7. My dog foster siblings are much bigger than me so I am still not too sure about playing with them. I like to observe them but playing is something we are working on. They are fun to snuggle with though! I spent a few days with a couple of kitties and we got along great! I liked chasing the younger one, but wasn't rough. The older cat let me know to stay out of his way and I respected that.
I haven’t quite gotten the potty training down yet. Again, it’s so cold out and I don’t understand why I should go out there naked when I can just go potty on my foster family's rugs. I do have a little jacket I have started to wear and I am working on building up my tolerance for cold. I am getting better every day! I am a pretty good girl sleeping in my kennel at night. Initially I get sad that I have to be away from my people, but I know my foster mom will come and get me in the morning and give me lots of love.
My dream forever family would have a happy mix of play and cuddle time. I would be happy being the only dog or being part of a pack, either way is great for me as long as I can be with my family a lot. Could that be you?
