If there are any questions regarding the adoption of a Save-A-Bull Rescue dog following or prior to the adoption, a Save-A-Bull Rescue representative will be glad to help you find answers. Terms & Conditions*
- I, the adoptive owner, agree I am responsible for the future control and behavior of the adopted canine. Save-A-Bull Rescue will not place a dog known to have an unsound temperament; however, no one can predict how any dog will react in a given situation, especially without complete knowledge of its life experiences. Therefore, adoptive owners are strongly urged to exercise prudence in introducing the dog to new situations until the dog becomes fully adjusted to its new environment and the adoptive owner has become familiar with the dog’s personality. Obedience training and continued socialization is strongly recommended.
- I, the adoptive owner, agree I am now responsible for the humane care and protection of the adopted canine. I will not physically or emotionally abuse said dog. For socialization and safety, your adopted canine is best kept indoors. The canine should not be left outside in inclement weather. A fenced in yard is strongly encouraged. I also agree to adhere to the regulations of my local animal control agency, including yearly licensing. Underground fencing is NOT considered an acceptable means of fencing by Save-A-Bull Rescue and is a violation of the agreement
- I, the adoptive owner, am adopting said dog as a companion for myself and my family. This canine is not a present for someone else and will not be rehomed without first contacting Save-A-Bull Rescue. I, the adoptive owner, agree that if at any time I desire to relinquish custody, I will first contact Save-A-Bull Rescue and give Save-A-Bull Rescue the option of reacquiring the canine before pursuing any further placement.
- If the adopter violates any aspect of this contract, especially regarding abuse or neglect of said dog, such owners will be liable to Save-A-Bull Rescue for $550. In addition, the adoptive owner must pay any/all expenses incurred by Save-A-bull Rescue due to the type of violation, such as veterinary fees. In the case of a violation, Save-A-Bull Rescue will take the dog into custody.
- Save-A-Bull Rescue makes no representations of warranties regarding the future temperament or physical condition of the adopted canine. All warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, where applicable, are hereby specifically disclaimed.
- Save-A-Bull Rescue shall not be held responsible for any bodily injuries or property damage caused by and adopted canine, or by the actions of its adoptive owners. The adoptive owner hereby specifically assumes sole responsibility for, and agrees to hold Save-A-Bull harmless from any and all expenses, including legal fees, by reason of liability imposed by law upon Save-A-Bull Rescue, or any of its officers and members because of bodily injuries to any person of persons including the adoptive owners, or any damage to property arising out of, or in consequence of, the placement of the adopted canine, howsoever such injuries, or damage to property may be caused, whether or not the same may have been caused, or alleged to have be accused, by negligence for the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or members, or any other person.
- Any misrepresentation made by the adopters intended to induce a Save-A-Bull Rescue representative into entering this contract results in a breach of contract and immediately render this contract null and void.
