Wilma
Female - 7 months old

Hi, I’m Wilma! People tell me I am gorgeous (it’s true); my deep brown coat and brown eyes are stunning. I talk in chirps and woo’s and speak sassy attitude with my eyes. I snore regularly – it’s kind of cute if you ask me! I was rescued from the shelter at the last minute and taken to my foster home to heal from Parvo. Ugh, it was so nasty, tell your friends to vaccinate their puppies! My foster mom says I am the princess of the household and require consistent snuggles and love every day!

I am potty trained and will whine at the door when I need to go outside. I am working hard on crate training and making great progress! If you’re gone, I sleep in my crate because I know you’ll let me out when you get home. I also sleep in my crate at night and do pretty well. I will need a home willing to continue working on my crate training to help me stay calm and safe. I know how to “sit”, “stay”, “come”, “shake”, and “off”. I will need obedience training classes and LOTS of exercise to become the best girl I can be. I love treats and will do just about anything for them, so it shouldn’t be too hard to teach me new things!

I have met a few toddlers and have done great with them! I live with three pitty mix doggies, two medium-sized adults (male and female) and one baby puppy (male). I really like being around them, especially the younger puppy as we match energy and play all the time. I like to snuggle with my puppy brother and chase my older brother around the yard for as long as I can. I am respectful of the older dogs when they tell me to back off or calm down. I would do best in a home with at least one other dog, as being around dogs calms my anxiety and fearfulness. I haven’t met any cats yet and really don’t know how I’d feel about them, we would have to see.

After surviving Parvo, I deserve a super fun home that is excited to play, run, snuggle, and shower me with love! I will be the most loyal, sweet, entertaining family member you ever had the pleasure of adopting. My dream home would be with someone or a family that is excited about having a pitbull baby girl. It would be ideal for me to live with someone that works from home or is home a lot to keep me company. I will require chew bones, squeaky toys, and, like I said, lots of attention. Seeing my people is the most exciting part of my day. I am up for any adventure and can’t wait to meet you!
