Hi, I’m Buttercup! I’m adorable, tiny, and wiggly and don’t know what to do with my extra-long body. I’m a total cuddle monster and I just want to be by people at all times. I got my long face from my beautiful mother, a bull terrier (she looks just like the Target dog!) and my short legs and long body from my daddy, who they think was a weiner dog, or dachshund. I'm definitely a unique little lady who has found my way into foster care with a bully breed rescue!

I recently came to Minnesota all the way from New Mexico, and still working on getting used to going potty outside. It’s cold up here! I’m working on crate training, but I don’t love my crate quite yet. I sleep in the crate, but I’d much rather be in your bed. I think I could learn to do some fun tricks, as I can already stand up on my hind legs for a second or two!

I love all the people that I have met so far in my life.  I haven’t met any cats yet. I have also met a whole lot of dogs so far! I’m a little shy at first but generally playful, and can give the grown up dogs around me some space when they need it.

I am super sweet and cuddly and I love belly rubs. I want nothing more than to curl up in your lap on the couch. When my puppy energy shows up, I like running and rolling around and snuffling in blankets. I tire out pretty quickly and curl up in my bed for a nap. I don’t nibble on fingers or toes like most puppies either! I’ll walk upstairs but I’m still learning to go down them.

I just want to be by people and I’d love to spend all day in your lap or in your arms. I would love to meet you!
