Q: How do you volunteer your time specifically with Save-a- Bull?
A: We are foster parents and also try to make it out to adoption events when possible. We also raised money and ran in the last Fast and the Furry 5K.

Q: How long have you been with Save-a- Bull?
A: About half a year give or take.

Q: How did you learn about Save-a- Bull and what made you decide to volunteer?
A: I started volunteering with Angel City Pit Bulls in Los Angeles which turned into fostering. When we decided to move to the Twin Cities I asked the other volunteers for a referral and they suggested Save-a-Bull.

Q: What’s the most rewarding experience you’ve had as a volunteer so far?
A: Every time a foster gets a home with great parents we are overcome with joy. As hard as it is to say goodbye sometimes, we realize that for each adoption there is one less wonderful dog in the shelter.

Q: Do you have any dogs of your own?
A: Shay was our 4th foster with Angel City Pit Bulls and decided she was staying with us forever. She helps our foster dogs with basic commands and potty training and how to protect the apartment from the inevitable squirrel and bunny invasion.

Q: What do you do for work? For fun?
We both work full time but when we are free we like to go to the dog park and go hiking.  We have really been loving the craft beer scene here in the Twin Cities. We also love Monopoly but no one will play with us.
