Leon
Male – 6 months old

Hi I'm Leon!

I love to play with toys (especially little squeaky ones) and run around flinging them in the air! After I’ve had some play, I love a nice cuddle/belly rub combo on the couch with my foster family.

Although I’d rather play inside (I moved here from Alabama and I’m still getting used to the Minnesota cold!), if you put a sweater on me I’ll be more than happy to go out for a walk. I’m a mange survivor and still missing a few patches of hair here and there, so I get cold easier than your average Minnesota pup!

Do you want to know my most favorite thing ever?!? HOTDOGS! When I first arrived I was a little bewildered from my long ride, but hotdogs helped me adjust to my new surroundings and they are the magical key to my heart.

Speaking of hotdogs, my foster mom thinks due to my long body and short legs, I kinda look like one (what a compliment!!).

I’m learning potty training and doing very well. I have the occasional accident, but who doesn’t? I’m very comfortable in my kennel and generally don’t cause a fuss when I’m in there.

I currently live with a very big dog and a bossy cat—I do well with both and I usually get the hint when my company is not wanted. I can be shy when first meeting new creatures (people and animals), but usually I’m my wiggly self in no time! If I sound like your type of guy, I’d love to meet you. That’s all for now!
