My name is Ace but I respond to nugget, baby, cutie, puppy or really any name because I always think you’re talking to me. My mom had me and my siblings outside under a porch in November and at just 3 weeks old I lost her to a car. A nice foster mamma bottle fed me and my brother and because of that I have been able to have another chance at life. I love people, dogs, cats, and pretty much anything besides the cold snow on my paws for too long. My foster mom tells me my green eyes are amazing and my floppy ears are adorable. I like to trot around the house like I own it but I still haven’t mastered the wood floors as I get too excited and often times lose my balance.
I am working on potty training and making great progress at only 9 weeks old! I just don’t like to stay out very long in the cold so I jump at my foster mom’s feet to be picked up too soon sometimes. My crate isn’t as comfortable as a warm body to cuddle up into but I like to explore it and eat my meals in there. I’m not sold on the sleeping in it every night yet but my foster mom has been helping me. I love car rides and fall asleep within minutes (even in my crate!).
I’m a very smart boy and my foster mom says I have a lot of potential to learn lots of tricks as I grow. In my forever home I would love to have a brother or sister to play with but I also wouldn’t mind being the center of attention. I would love an active home who will play with me and bring me to explore new places and people.
