Female – 8 months old

Hi there! I’m Quorra. I’m a sweet girl who loves to cuddle. I am originally from Alabama and I travelled to Minnesota in hopes of finding my forever home here! Before I came into rescue, I was super sick with Parvovirus. Thankfully, some nice humans found and took really good care of me. Now, I’m a healthy and happy pup and I’m ready to search for my forever family!

I’m learning lots of new things in my foster home – like how to go potty outside. I’m also working on becoming more comfortable in my kennel. I don’t love it in there, but I’m getting used to it more and more each day. I typically sleep in my kennel at night, although I’d much rather sleep in bed with my foster humans. I’m practicing basic commands – like name recall, sit and down. So far, I’ve mastered one trick – puppy eyes. I’m realllllly good at puppy eyes. No human can resist. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

I love meeting new people and making new friends! I can be a bit shy at first, but it doesn’t take too long before I’m begging for snuggles. I don’t currently live with any tiny humans, but I love to play with the neighbor kids (ages 4 and 7). The kids like to carry me around, which makes me so happy. I currently live with a boring, old lady kitty.  I would like to play with her, but she prefers to nap. I am learning to respect her space when she tells me to go away. I also live with 2 foster dog siblings – a brother and a sister. I like to follow them around and snuggle with them. I enjoy wrestling with my foster sister, because she always lets me win and my foster brother is teaching me how to play fetch!

My dream forever family will take me with them on all sorts of adventures and socialize me, since I can be a bit shy at first. They must also enjoy snuggling and want a permanent lap dog – even when I’m a big girl. I would make a great addition to any loving family – with or without children and I would love to have a fur sibling to play with.
