Hi There, my name is Drax and I’m looking for my forever home! I was found as a stray in Indiana and tested positive for Parvo. But do not fear, because with some TLC and medications, I was able to overcome it and now I’m a happy and healthy boy! My foster mom says I have cool markings on my fur – red with a little bit of brown brindle and white toes on my back paws… how adorable is that?
I really like to play fetch, but I have figured out the whole “bring it back” concept… I also really like playing with the stick my humans use to throw the ball. My favorite toys are RAWHIDES, followed by a good ole tennis ball. I love to play hard and follow it up with some human snuggles. Those are the best.
I am working hard on potty and kennel training. My foster mom says I am doing well considering how young I am. I’ve had a couple accidents around the house but no accidents in my kennel so far! I sleep in my kennel at night and hangout in there while the humans are out. I like to make some noise in my kennel for a few minutes, but I quickly soothe myself and go right back to sleep. My foster mom is working on the “go to bed” command, but I haven’t mastered it yet. I am also learning my name and how to sit! I’m so smart.
Right now, I have 3 foster fur siblings – all dogs and I LOVE them. We love to play together and they are teaching me proper play manners. Sometimes I start to annoy them, especially when I steal their toys, but they tell me to go away and I listen. I haven’t met any tiny humans yet or kitties, but I am young enough that I bet I would love them and be on my best puppy behavior!
My dream forever family is one that will give me lots of attention, love, snuggles and play time. I love to play, so it’s important that my forever family is active and will play with me, or has another puppy for me to play with! I am the very best dog in the whole world because I am a perfect balance of all the good puppy traits. I am affectionate and snuggly, I like to play and I’m smart! I sound pretty awesome, right?
